Apex Legends players are in the midst of Season 13 of the battle royale known as Savior. With a new Legend called Newcastle and an updated Storm Point map, there are plenty of reasons for players to be excited to jump into the battle royale this season. In addition, the developers have made a number of changes to help improve the overall gameplay experience. While many of these adjustments have been welcomed by members of the community, their implementation has brought a few unintended side effects.
One of the adjustments made by the developers at the start of Season 13 related to the out-of-bounds areas on the map. As part of the update at the start of the season, players could no longer perform certain actions such as fire weapons, use items, throw grenades, and activate Legend abilities when in these areas. While these changes made by the developers were meant to reduce the number of campers in-game, they have caused some players to get caught on the game’s geometry.
Latest Apex Legends Flying Glitch Lets Players Float At High Speeds
Recently, one player shared a clip on Reddit from a battle royale match on Storm Point in which they revealed that the out-of-bounds areas on the map were not working as intended. Playing as Valkyrie, the clip begins with the gamer taking one of the Gravity Cannons situated around the map. While these mechanisms are meant to aid players in rotating to different POIs, they sometimes have unintended consequences, as this player recently found out.
