Ubisoft has laid out its plans for Rainbow Six Siege for 2022, which covers the game’s Year 7 and its included four seasons. Ubisoft just recently unveiled the content it’s introducing for Season 1 of Year 7, which includes Rainbow Six Siege’s first new map since 2019 as well as a new Operator and a permanent Team Deathmatch game mode. Season 1 will also feature several balance and quality of life changes, among many other new additions and fixes.

Its ongoing success has even led to Ubisoft saying that a Rainbow Six Siege sequel isn’t necessary and that the studio only plans to continue improving the game.
