Wordle is one of the latest games to take over the internet, appealing to not only gamers, but anyone who enjoys a good braintease. While the rules of Wordle are simplistic, the puzzles can be anything but, and it often leaves players craving more.
While it's possible to revisit puzzles from days the player originally missed, fans who can't get enough of the Wordle formula might consider looking to one of its many clones; games that have taken their premise from Wordle, but with a different theme. One of the most recent of these is Quolture, which is perfect for fans of TV and movies.
Octordle is a Wordle Clone Where Players Guess Eight Words at Once
As the name implies, this particular Wordle clone is built around famous quotations from television and movie classics. Players are given one movie quote and one TV quote to solve everyday. In order to answer the TV quote, the player has to successfully answer the movie quotation first, so players will need a good knowledge of both.
The main difference between Quolture and Wordle is the method in which correct answers are revealed. Wordle gives players a limited number of chances to answer the puzzle, but each letter the player tries is highlighted in a color, letting them know if it's completely correct, in the puzzle somewhere, or not used in the puzzle. Quolture, on the other hand, allows unlimited attempts, but doesn't highlight any letters, even if they're in the exact right spot. Players have to solve the puzzle entirely in order to win.
