Quest for Style: How to Complete the Haliscan Outfit in Patch 10.0.5
Many white items were marked cosmetic with Patch 10.0.5. One simple yet dashing look now available due to this is the Haliscan outfit.
The Stylish HaliscanThe Haliscan outfit is made up of three signature pieces.
Haliscan Jacket Haliscan Pantaloons Haliscan Brimmed HatThe first two can be made by tailors, who can buy these patterns from Haughty Modiste in Gadgetzan, Tanaris — /way #71 50.6 28.6. Occasionally, Haughty also sells the pattern for Dress Shoes which also recently became cosmetic and which go nicely with this outfit, so tailors may want to pick that up as well if they happen to see them. As for non-tailors, don't worry. These patterns are not rare, so all three items can usually be purchased for a reasonable price on the Auction House. For the Haliscan Brimmed Hat, players will want to speak with Don Carlos just outside of Gadgetzan, at /way #71 50.8 27.4. He offers the quest Nice Hat..., which requires defeating his younger self in the Caverns of Time dungeon Old Hillsbrad Foothills. At level 70, this is pathetically easy to solo — there's no need to even kill any of the bosses or finish the dungeon. Your target can be found patrolling the main road that runs east-to-west through the dungeon. The mini-boss also has a high chance of dropping the toy Don Carlos' Famous Hat, which grants the same appearance as the transmog — along with the bonus of summoning a coyote spirit to act as your companion!
