We have been following the story of Project Ironside, the first really affordable board game table currently available on the marketplace. For just a few hundred dollars, consumers have been promised an inexpensive yet durable board game table that will work in any gaming room for years to come. We have been VERY impressed with how this company has handled the Kickstarter campaign so far, and with their recent merger with Box King, bigger and better things are on the horizon!
For those who have backed the original Project Ironside, replacement parts as necessary are starting to flow from the warehouse to consumers, and further waves of products are hitting shores across the world. You can read all about the update here .
The bigger news here is that there is now an Ironside 2.0 table! Obviously this design is slightly different than the original table; the 2.0 design has full metal panels and vaults for added durability. The non-porous design makes it very aesthetically pleasing. BoxKing Gaming is also expanding their product offerings, which has been well received by the community.
We’ve stolen a few images form the Ironside 2.0 webpage which you can view here but we hope to be reviewing tables and accessories from BoxKing Gaming very soon!
