You're able to obtain your first Primordial Stones and the Onyx Annulet by running the Zskera Vaults, a new outdoor activity in Patch 10.0.7. Once you have a number of Primordial Stones, you're able to manipulate them in the following ways:

You're able to remove Primordial Stones from your Onyx Annulet in Morquit Village, by the jewelcrafting table to the left of Ham'urit. Approaching that table will bring up an extra action bar button allowing you to Pluck Out Primordial Stone from your ring — Simply use the ability, open the socket menu on your Onyx Annulet, and select the Primordial Stone you wish to unsocket from your ring.
