In the current state of the Power Rangers, the entire team of teenage superheroes have given up their normal lives on Earth in order to commit full time to being the Power Rangers and protecting the universe from any and all monstrous threats. The reason they made this decision is because of the events of the Elterian War during which the Elterians attempted to conquer all life forms in the universe but were stopped by the full force of the Power Rangers. While the Rangers came out on top, the victory was a narrow one and made the Rangers decide to spend their lives committed to being cosmic heroes.
