Fans of the Power Rangers will soon be able to form their own team of heroes and villains from across the nearly 30-year-old franchise in Power Rangers: Morphin Legends, a new mobile game from Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid developer nWay. Power Rangers has spawned several tie-in video games over the past three decades, from classic side-scrolling beat-em-ups on the SNES and Sega Genesis to modern 2D fighters for consoles and mobile devices.

As reported by Comicbook, nWay has just announced Power Rangers: Morphin Legends, a new team-based RPG that is soft-launching on iOS and Android-compatible mobile devices later today. Billed as a "mobile character-collection role-playing game,” Morphin Legends allows players to build their own unique squad of Rangers as they challenge foes in turn-based battles. Along the way, they will be able to recruit new characters to their ranks, including some of the Power Rangers franchise’s most infamous villains. There is no word yet on which characters will be playable, nor if Power Rangers’ legendary Zord battle machines will play a role in Morphin Legend.
