Upcoming Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 merch will allow fans of the horror series to purchase a Mommy Long Legs plush toy. Notably, an officially-licensed plush toy for Poppy Playtime villain Huggy Wuggy hit the market earlier this year. The roughly 17-inch replica cost $29.99, boasting velcro paws, plastic eyes, and embroidered stitching. It's an interesting piece of merchandise, to say the least.

Poppy Playtime began taking the world by storm last year, dropping players into a tale about an abandoned toy manufacturer, Playtime Co., and its deadly toys come to life. Developer MOB Games already has a follow-up entry on the way, too, in the form of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2. But it seems the aforementioned Huggy Wuggy will take a backseat to a new monster — Mommy Long Legs. While the sequel remains on track for a 2022 launch, MOB Games has yet to specify a firm due date.

A Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Steam listing suggested the new content would go live on April 29; though such information has since proven inaccurate, fans can mark their calendars for another upcoming release. The official Poppy Playtime Store notes that another batch of merch will hit the online shop on Tuesday, May 3, and a Mommy Long Legs plushie constitutes one forthcoming addition. At the time of writing, the plush toy lacks a product listing, so details about size dimensions and pricing are not yet known. It's also unclear if the merch on May 3 will be available to purchase outright or if this simply serves as a date for pre-order openings.
