As one of the biggest franchises not only in gaming but in popular culture, Pokémon's merchandising reach expands beyond simple games, but to all sorts of cosmetics, clothing, and even officially-licensed Pokémon face masks.
One type of Pokémon product that has been extremely popular in recent years is Pokémon Trading Cards. Thanks to the rise in popularity of opening Pokémon card packs on social media and overall interest in the cards as a collectible, Pokémon cards have become incredibly valuable and sought-after. The craze has led to some retailers limiting how many packs of cards collectors can purchase at once. Some retailers have been robbed for their Pokémon cards, with thieves hoping to strike it big with a possible rare card. Pokémon card theft is not the only form of illegality, as some online sellers have actually begun selling counterfeit cards. This has prompted online retailers like eBay to impose verification that the Pokémon cards sold are authentic. But Pokémon fans are finding ways to integrate these cards into other products.

One fan, who goes by the name poochie-dingo, shared their custom keycaps on the WASD keys which replace the keys with what appear to be miniature versions of Pokémon cards inside clear keys.
