In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the official account revealed a special-edition Pikachu promo card to celebrate Worlds 2024. It features a striking illustration of series mascots Pikachu and Mew, locked in a thrilling battle in a Honolulu-inspired arena. In the background, grassy hills can be seen rising above a reflective blue sea, separated only by a thin strip of white sand. The card is exclusively available from select retailers before and during the event — from August 2 to August 18 — and only then while supplies last.
The Pokémon Worlds promo card won't be exclusive to the event, so players won't have to travel to Honolulu to pick one up — but they certainly can. The card will be distributed as a gift with certain purchases at certain local and online retailers, including the Pokémon Center online shop.
