Although the Pokémon Trading Card Game Lost Origin expansion is months away from release, many of its Secret Rare cards have been leaked after surfacing online. ThePokémon Lost Origin TCG set was originally revealed in June after the Pokémon Center store accidentally leaked the expansion weeks before its official announcement. The Sword and Shield release faced more leaks in July after many of its rare cards were posted early on social media sites.
Following its leaked unveiling in June, The Pokémon Company confirmed that the Lost Origin TCG set would be released on Friday, September 9th. The new Pokémon card expansion features the debut of Legendaries Kyurem and Giratina as VSTAR cards and will also bring back the retired «Lost Zone» mechanic from the Pokémon Platinum series in 2009. Despite the Pokémon Sword and Shield TCG set's release still being months away, pictures of the expansion's Secret Rare cards leaked in advance on July 14th.
