Players have been aiming to catch every Pokemon since Red and Blue, which is a daunting task, especially as new creatures are being added constantly.
Pokemon Gold and Silver made things a little harder by introducing Shiny Pokemon. This meant that all pocket monsters now had an alternate coloring that was more scarce than the normal one, adding a bit of difficulty to the mission of catching all of them. With Generation 9 on the horizon, many gamers are imagining what the Shiny versions of the newly announced creatures will be, creating their own colorings for recently revealed Pokemon.

A Redditor going by the name yzziB shared their Shiny versions of some Pokemon that have been announced for Scarlet and Violet, including the three starters. The user drew Quaxly with similar colors to its official artwork, but made its white feathers gray. The red coloring on Fuecoco was changed to yellow, while its stomach patch was turned brown and the sprouts on its head orange. Sprigatito was essentially the same color, though its facial markings, ears, and collar were altered to pink.
