Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has a brand-new trailer that's chock-full of reveals—we know it supports four-player co-op, is launching on November 19, and its two legendaries are called Koraidon and Miraodon.
They seem to parallel the professors with one looking prehistoric while the other is futuristic with jet-powered legs and a metal body. If you buy the Scarlet version, you'll get the ancient lizard, while Violet is centred around the neon coloured, android-like Pokemon.

In the footage, we see them perched atop giant rocks in the ocean, but it's not in-game footage, so we don't know how good they'll actually look on the Nintendo Switch just yet. But all footage is subject to change before launch, anyway.
Speculation is already running rampant. One professor has more ragged and ancient clothing while the other is more modern, bordering on futuristic, paralleling the two new legendaries. This has sparked theories about one game being set in the past, the other in the future, or both games involving time travel in some fashion following on from Legends Arceus' own messing with time.
Regardless, we finally have a glimpse at the legendaries we'll set out to catch on our quest to be the very best. And time travel aside, there are some interesting questions to be asked about our more futuristic friend who is seemingly artificial. We can see joints, metal plating, and fake electrical spikes, all pointing to a manufactured legendary, while the other is clearly organic. Although, both are very lizard-like in appearance.
