Pokemon's New Miraidon And Koraidon Plushes Now Available

There is no franchise that does synergy quite like Pokemon. Shortly after you're introduced to a new generation of Pokemon via the latest games, those same Pokemon will begin to appear on other branches of the Pokemon tree. Whether it's in the TV show, as trading cards, or best of all, as plushes. Since Koraidon and Miraidon are the Pokemon on the covers of Scarlet & Violet, they were among the first from the newest generation of the games to get the plush treatment.

Seems those initial paradox Pokemon plushes were pretty popular as less than a year after Scarlet & Violet's launch, Miraidon and Koraidon are getting another plush each. Already available in Japan but now up for pre-order in the US, the new plushes have the paradox Pokemon in their bike forms rather than standing up on their back legs like the bipedal 'mons they are. Wait, are they still bipedal if they have wheels? Not sure there's a word for that yet in the animal kingdom.

If you are already well-acquainted with the world of Pokemon plushes, you'll know they can be pretty expensive, especially when they're first released. Koraidon and Miraidon are no different and will set you back $60 each, so more than $100 if you want both. And no, before you ask, there's no sort of two-for-one deal available. Pokemon knows damn well they will sell out without the need to offer some sort of deal.

Paradox Pokemon were introduced to the series in Scarlet & Violet and for the former, Koraidon was the face. Appearing on the game's cover, you can now get the sprinting version of its plush at the Pokemon Center.
