An incredible piece of art has surfaced depicting Pokémon's Groudon as a Dark Souls-style boss. The many generations of Pokémon are filled with all manner of strangely imagined creatures, some designed to look more fearsome than others. When it comes to Dark Souls games, the majority of enemies and bosses are designed to look terrifying and dangerous, and most of them turn out to be just that. Of course, many players would be curious to see what a Pokémon designed in the style of a Dark Souls beast could look like.
While many Pokémon are comparable in size to real-life creatures, some are more reminiscent of dinosaurs such as the ground-type Pokémon Groudon. First introduced as a legendary Pokémon in Generation 3, Groudon is the game mascot for Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Omega Ruby. This ancient giant stands taller than most buildings and has huge claws and armor-like scales, so it's easy to see that Groudon would make a formidable boss battle in any game.

The artwork is a stunningly beautiful piece with incredible detail that truly helps bring Groudon to life. The artist has given Groudon the image of an ancient beast that has seen many battles in its time, and the broken tail is a nice touch that adds to the history of this dark Groudon.
