Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes players to the ancient region of Hisui, where many mysteries, challenges, and pokemon await! In a region as wonderful as this, you can find new versions of classic pokemon, with new types, moves, and even a different aspect.

One of these variants is Hisuian Growlithe, a new take of the classic Kanto pokemon, this time with a furrier mane on its head and chest. The regional variant of this beloved puppy has a Fire/Rock typing and a new signature move when it evolves, and here you can learn everything you need to know to find it.
To obtain a Hisuian Growlithe you must go to the Cobalt Coastlands, the third accessible area in the Hisui region, where you can find a few Growlithe running around the Veilstone Cape and Windbreak Stand areas, from levels 29 to 47 depending on which zone you're looking. However, if you want to successfully evolve this pokemon into a Hisuian Arcanine, you must obtain an evolutionary item first, called Fire Stone.

Once you obtained your Fire Stone, you must use it on your Hisuian Growlithe to trigger the evolution cutscene, and once it finishes you will now have a Hisuian Arcanine. This regional variant will have a Fire/Rock typing, and will gain access to the technique Raging Fury, a Fire move of 90 power and 85 accuracy that will make Arcanine get fixated into using this move, making it more powerful every time, similar to Rollout.
