Many Pokemon GO fans fondly remember the Kanto event that helped kick off 2021. In late February, fans took part in Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto, an event in which Pokemon from the first generation appeared in droves, celebrating the first 150 monsters to join the franchise.

Not only was their increased availability exciting, it was also easier to find Shiny versions of these Pokemon, and the event also added many new Shinies to the game. Pokemon GO will do the same thing in 2022 with Pokemon GO Tour:
