In fact, some of these requirements may be a little too specific. Users are calling attention to two of the longest-standing earnable medals in Pokemon GO and pointing out their problems with some offered solutions.

In Pokemon GO, players are rewarded for select achievements with a variety of medals. These medals typically offer multiple ranks to unlock, starting with Bronze and ending with Platinum. For example, with the Fisher and Youngster medals, players are expected to discover a number of large Magikarp and tiny Rattata, respectively. The medals are a callback to common Pokemon trainer types found throughout the games.
These medals were introduced early in Pokemon GO's life, and fans argue that they're showing their age and are too difficult. When Pokemon GO was first making waves, Magikarp and Rattata joined the game as first-gen Pokemon, meaning that there were quite a number of them around. While finding very large Magikarp and tiny Rattata wasn't necessarily the easiest thing, the sheer quantity of these two Pokemon available made it possible. However, there are now numerous newer Pokemon in the game, and as a result, seeing spawns of these two have become rarer.
