Pokemon GO's rollout of Alola Pokemon throughout the year has already seen plenty of fan-favorite creatures introduced from Pokemon Sun and Moon. The «Season of Alola,» which ran from March to the start of June, added popular Pokemon like the Alolan starters and the island guardian Tapu Pokemon. The popular mobile game's most recent crossover with the Pokemon Trading Card Game also introduced the bug Pokemon Wimpod and Golisopod. Now, Niantic and The Pokemon Company have officially unveiled a new trio of Ultra Beasts will be coming to the game later this year.
With the introduction of Alola to Pokemon GO wrapping up earlier this month, many fans have been eager to see the mysterious inter-dimensional Ultra Beasts added to the game. The start of Niantic's 2022 Pokemon GO Fest events introduced the first member of the Ultra Beasts, the poison-type Nihilego, with more expected to arrive later in the year. Now, Pokemon GO has officially revealed the arrival of Pheromosa, Buzzwole, and Xurkitree to come during Pokemon GO Fest's in-person events.
Pokemon GO Could Be Adding Ultra Beasts Soon
An official announcement from Niantic Wednesday morning revealed that three new Ultra Beasts will be coming to Pokemon GO with each exclusive to a specific GO Fest location. Players attending the July 1st event in Berlin will be able to encounter Pheromosa while Buzzwole will be exclusive to the July 22nd event in Seattle and Xurkitree to the August 5th event in Sapporo. The announcement post also confirmed that the three Ultra Beasts would later be available globally during the «Season of GO» event.
