Despite the fact that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were not featured in today's Nintendo Direct Mini, it's quite likely that Gen 9 games will soon get a new trailer, possibly even in the coming week. Considering that the June trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was released at the beginning of the month, it's only natural to think that Nintendo will release something new shortly to start the reveal season that usually occurs during the summer. In the meantime, fans of the games are eagerly waiting to know which new Pokemon will appear in Generation 9 and which ones will return from past titles — possibly, this time with a new regional form or branching evolution.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus did the same with Pokemon like Ursaluna, a creature that evolves from Ursaring in the Hisui region, but one that was missing from mainline games thus far. Another example comes from regional forms, which have been a staple of the series since their debut in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will almost surely have regional forms as well, but none have been officially revealed so far.

The supposed «leak» was posted on Reddit by a user called s_samuu, and it comes with a picture of a verdant field where multiple Cherubi are happily wandering around.
