A talented Pokemon fan has hand-painted a portrait of Mimikyu on an abnormally small canvas and is receiving virtually universal positive reception. It's no secret that the Pokemon fandom is filled with plenty of artistically talented people, with many of them creating works of more popularized fully-evolved or Legendary Pokemon. However, Mimikyu does have its fair share of staunch supporters, as can be seen by the minuscule painting.
Introduced as part of the seventh generation, Mimikyu is a dual-type Ghost/Fairy Pokemon whose entire design is to attempt to mimic the appearance of Pikachu, with varying degrees of success. With multiple Pokedex entries stating that anyone who sees Mimikyu's true form will meet their demise, the creepy ragdoll-looking creature is one of the scariest Ghost Pokemon of all time.

The micro Mimikyu painting comes from Reddit user u/_eamar, who posted a photo of their work to one of the site's main Pokemon subreddits. Done on a canvas that measures only 2.75 by 2.75 inches, the artwork looks virtually flawless, almost looking like a printed copy. Set against a black background, viewers will see Mimikyu in all their glory, complete with accurate detail. Every aspect looks the same as the out-of-focus reference image on the laptop behind — the coloring, line work, shading, and all — with a thin white border around the Pokemon to make the portrait really pop.
The most impressive aspect is certainly getting all of that precision on such a small canvas, something that other fans also realize.
