But that has not stopped a fan from coming up with an idea that could help improve the area if it makes an appearance in future games.
The Safari Zone was a special area that players could visit that allowed them to roam around and capture Pokemon. The area held rare Pokemon for players to find, some of which were only located in the Safari Zone. Gamers would explore the area and engage in encounters with Pokemon, though they would not participate in traditional battles. Instead, players threw special PokeBalls made for the Safari Zone, with Pokemon being capable of fleeing from the encounter. With there being a possibility that we see the Safari Zone make a comeback in Pokemon Scarlet andViolet among other features, one gamer has an idea to help improve the experience.

A Redditor going by the name MagicalMagic00 made the suggestion that upcoming Pokemon games with a Safari Zone should use the capturing mechanics found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. They state that if future games in the series are going to go back to the traditional catching through battling, it would be a good way to keep the mechanics found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. It could also make Safari Zones less frustrating while also keeping it different from the standard routes that Pokemon will be encountered on.
