The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel has uploaded a near ten-hour-long music video featuring Bidoof, to help people relax and study. There have been a number ofPokémon ASMR videos released on YouTube over recent months, developed by The Pokémon Company for its social media channels.
Bidoof has been cementing its status as a meme Pokémon for a long time now. The beaver-inspired Pokémon debuted in Generation IV, in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The fact that those games have been remade on the Nintendo Switch as Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and the Sinnoh region received a prequel in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, mean that Bidoof has been given the spotlight once more. Bidoof was originally written off as a junk Normal-type dex filler when Pokémon Diamond and Pearl were released, even though its evolution was the best HM mule in the game. In recent times, Bidoof's goofy design has seen it used in comedy videos released by The Pokémon Company, such as the Bidoof Rickroll parody on Bidoof Day in 2021.

Pokémon Day is fast approaching and The Pokémon Company has been featuring new events and adding content to its games. A new music video has been added to The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel to help people get into the festive mood for Pokémon Day, providing something for Bidoof fans. The Bidoofwave music video is almost ten hours long and it features a slowed-down loop of animation and music, repeated for the whole duration of the track.
