A creative Pokémon fan has created art that reimagines some of the game series' creatures in the style of the classic Disney franchise Lilo and Stitch. Drawing Pokémon in various different styles is a popular topic for fan artists, with other recent examples including a Dark Souls-like version of Groudon.
Lilo and Stitch was a large part of many a childhood in the 2000s, boasting three films and a 65-episode TV series in less than ten years, with new spin-offs continuing to emerge over time. A large part of the franchise's staying power was arguably down to the genetic experiments which filled the TV show, with each episode seeing Lilo and Stitch on a mission to rehabilitate some new «cousin» of Stitch's. Jumba's experiments came in all shapes and sizes, with a wild variety of powers to boot. In that sense, it is easy to make the comparison to Pokémon. Every new generation of the franchise debuts new Pokémon to catch, in what seems like a never-ending cycle of new and intriguing additions.

Reddit user Troytheartboy personally seems to be more interested in the more nostalgic era of Pokémon. A popular post made to the Pokémon subreddit shows off a series of Pokémon from the first two generations, including Lapras and Sneasel, which have had their designs altered to resemble those of the Lilo and Stitch experiments. Lapras has become an especially cute version of itself, while Sneasel's newly rounded features give it a cuddly appearance (if you don't mind the claws). The artwork clearly takes many of the core design elements from Lilo and Stitch, such as the iconic round noses and elongated ears, to make the Pokémon fit their new adoptive
