Poco has unveiled its new F-series edition smartphone, the Poco F4 5G, in the global market, including India as a mid-ranger during an online event today. With a special focus on gaming and performance, the smartphone is powered by the powerful, but an year-old, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. This is the same processor that we have recently experienced with the iQOO Neo 6. The Poco F4 5G succeeds last year’s Poco F3 GT which packed the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The Poco F4 5G smartphone made its debut with three storage variants starting with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 27,999. Besides this, Poco offered two other variants - 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and a massive 12GB RAM option with a 256GB storage priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 33,999 respectively. You can find the smartphone in two colour variants including Nebula Green and Night Black.
The new Poco F4 5G features a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 1300 nits of peak brightness level and 120Hz of refresh rate and 360Hz of touch sampling. This is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. As mentioned above, the Poco F4 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is backed by a 4500mAh battery with a support of a 67W charger, which promises to charge up to 50 percent in just 11 minutes.
In the camera department, it features a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary camera along with 8MP wide-camera sensor and a 2MP macro lens. While in front, you get a 20MP selfie camera. Besides these, it offers a stereo sound speaker setup, well, it misses out
