Sony has revealed the lineup of PlayStation Plus monthly games for November, which includes Cold Iron Studios' Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, and Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
As detailed in a new PlayStation Blog post, the titles will be available to download at no extra cost for PlayStation Plus subscribers of any tier from Tuesday, Nov. 7 up until Monday, Dec. 4, at which point the titles will leave the service.
Mafia II: Definitive Edition is set in the fictional post-World War II, New York-inspired city of Empire Bay, in which the protagonist Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob while attempting to clear his father’s debts. The definitive edition includes an HD remaster of the base game, in addition to all subsequent DLC content. In our 7/10 review of the 2010 original, IGN said that “Mafia II is a solid little game that’ll give you a fun ride, just don’t expect the world."
Dragon Ball: The Breakers, meanwhile, is an asymetrical 2022 survival action title from developer Dimps, which asks a team of seven players to take control of ordinary citizens from the martial arts-infused universe, and go up against classic DBZ villains such as Frieza and Cell. The villains - known as Raiders in the game - have the task of hunting down the enemy team in order to evolve into more powerful versions of themselves, while citizens must attempt to escape or overcome the Raider using a plethora of skills and strategies.
In IGN’s 5/10 PS5 review, we said that “Dragon Ball: The Breakers starts with a great idea, but doesn't live up to it, as loose controls, a bad camera, and live-service gacha mechanics more fitting of a free-to-play title remove a lot of the fun from the initial concept."
