Despite the system having yet to be announced, the PlayStation 5 Pro is apparently still coming this year, according to a report from a reliable insider.
During the latest Game Mess Mornings, Jeff Grubb discussed Sony's yet-to-be-revealed system, saying that, last he heard, the console is still coming out this year. In addition, the insider heard that there will probably be a State of Play presentation by the end of September. The insider doesn't know if the PlayStation 5 Pro will be at the State of Play, but there's a good chance it will be.
At this point, the PlayStation 5 Pro has become an open secret, and almost everyone in the video games industry seems to know about it. During this year's Gamescom, Alessio was told by a developer that they have been informed about the system specifications and are sure Unreal Engine 5 games will run better on the system. Given that it wasn't a big developer, it definitely seems like Sony shared the system specifications with a wide range of developers to gear up for the system's announcement and release.
The PlayStation 5 Pro has yet to be officially announced. We will keep you updated on the system as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
