Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2021-22 is coming close to end as matches continue to come in thick and fast in Bengaluru. Today on February 2, 2022, the league will have another set of ‘double-panga’ encounters. The first fixture will take place between UP Yoddha and Patna Pirates in the 88th match, while Puneri Paltan will take on U Mumba in the 89th match.
All PKL Kabaddi matches are being played in bio-bubble, at Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru. Though spectators are not allowed at the ground due to Covid-19 safety measures, one can watch live telecasts on various sports channels as well as on OTT Disney+Hotstar.
The Yoddhas have not been able to hit their stride this season so far as they are placed sixth on the points table with five wins and seven losses. Patna Pirates, on the other hand, are currently placed third in the league with eight wins, four losses and one tie.
However, in the second match, Puneri Paltan, will eye a fourth straight win after beating UP Yoddha, Bengaluru Bulls and Dabang Delhi KC in their last three games. On the other hand, U Mumba will try to strengthen their position in the top six.
