Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed plans to run a free PlayStation Plus online multiplayer weekend.
Online multiplayer modes for PS4 and PS5 games will be accessible without a PlayStation Plus subscription from 12.01am on February 12 until 11.59pm on February 14 local time, PlayStation Europe tweeted.
Players who want to participate in the promotion will require a PlayStation Network account.

The number of PlayStation Plus subscribers totalled 48 million as of December 2021, according to the Sony.
February’s PlayStation Plus games, which are free for subscribers to download, are UFC 4 (PS4), Planet Coaster: Console Edition (PS5), and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure (PS4).
