Netflix has confirmed that Peaky Blinders season 6, the final season of the acclaimed BBC drama will drop on the streaming service this summer. The beloved crime drama show, created by Steven Knight (Spencer), follows the exploits of the Peaky Blinders crime organization in the city of Birmingham, England, in the direct aftermath of the First World War. The fictional group is loosely based on the real urban youth gang of the same name that was operating in the city from the 1890s to the 1910s.
Peaky Blinders sees Inception and Dunkirk actor Cillian Murphy star as the protagonist and head of the Shelby crime family, Thomas «Tommy» Shelby. He is joined by series regulars Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Joe Cole, Finn Cole, Annabelle Wallis (Malignant), and the late Helen McCrory (Harry Potter). The series also features several world-renowned actors in recurring roles with the likes of Sam Neill, Tom Hardy, Adrien Brody, Anya Taylor-Joy, Aidan Gillen, and Sam Claflin. Peaky Blinders debuted in 2013 on BBC, and the story is set to end with the ongoing sixth season, followed by a spin-off film, which will begin production in 2023.

Now, Netflix has confirmed (via Variety) that Peaky Blinders season 6 will release on the streaming service on June 10, 2022, with all six episodes dropping simultaneously. The final season recently premiered on BBC One and BBCiPlayer, with the first episode dropping on the British platforms on February 27. However, international audiences were made to wait a little longer and speculate on when they would be able to catch up to the celebrated series until now.
