If an angel can fall, can a demon ascend? Demons are the central plot point of the story in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and eventually, the protagonist meets one who is trying to do just that. Arueshalae is an Ascendant Demon, and she can join the adventuring party after Drezen is retaken. Another companion, Woljif, will often joke about dressing her up and passing her off as a Tiefling.

When she's in the party, she can act as an advisor to the Crusade Command and provide choices in situations where morale is low or Crusaders are losing their initiative. As a Ranger of the Espionage Expert subclass, her abilities are based on Charisma, and she also has high scores in other abilities that make her ideal for multi-classing options.
The Lost Chapel is one of the last locations the party will visit on the road to Drezen. Unlike other locations on the map, this one is prompted automatically when the road to Drezen is almost clear. The Crusader Camp is beset by gargoyles, and the party must trek to the Lost Chapel to rescue whoever they can.
While scouring the snowy hills, you'll find some unique artifacts - a harp, a sextant, and a book. Equip the book for some random fun, but keep the sextant and the harp. When you find a makeshift altar to Desna, place the harp and sextant on the altar and click on the hand symbols. If the Path of the Azata is open to your character, Arueshalae will appear in a vision, and if you speak to her, she can be recruited earlier in the Drezen prison.
