Reviews for Pam & Tommy are in, and they are praising the show's surprisingly nuanced look at the infamous sex tape scandal. The highly-anticipated Hulu series takes a deep dive into the tumultuous marriage between its titular couple, former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson (Lily James) and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee (Sebastian Stan). Pam & Tommy's cast also includes Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Pepi Sonuga, and Andrew Dice Clay.
The Pam & Tommy series hails from a variety of creative talent, including Rogen and his longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg, who initially developed the miniseries. I, Tonya and Cruella helmer Craig Gillespie was then brought on board to direct, along with The Wrestler and The Founder scribe Robert D. Siegel to pen most of the scripts. The series puts the spotlight on the couple's unauthorized sex tape which was recorded privately during their honeymoon, stolen from a locked safe, and released online without their permission in 1995.
