The latest in a series of Paddington Bear Photoshop artwork has brought together the worlds of Paddington and Death Stranding, and has even caught the eye of PlayStation. Death Stranding protagonist Sam Porter Bridges may typically traverse the vast game world on his own, but since the title's release, plenty of fans have imagined a host of different companions for the character.
Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding first released in 2019 and the quiet, harsh backdrop of a post-apocalyptic future was seen as a vast departure from the tactical espionage games Kojima became known for with the Metal Gear franchise. This caused a somewhat divisive response upon its release. Critics mainly praised the game for being unlike anything else on the market at the time, sporting an original story and offering impressive visuals on PlayStation 4, which have only been enhanced with the launch of Death Stranding Directors Cut on PS5 and PC. Some players, however, deemed it boring and slow in its gameplay. On the flip side, Paddington and its sequel are almost universally beloved adaptations of the famous marmalade-loving bear, with Paddington 2 once boasting a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

Due to the resurgence of love for Paddington Bear in recent years, Twitter user Jaythechou has taken to Photoshopping the character into a movie, game, or show "every day until [they] forget." The May 25 entry shows Paddington edited into the world of Death Stranding, assisting Bridges on one of his life-threatening delivery routes.
