Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the original Dino Crisis' planner and a producer on Dino Crisis 2 and 3, is involved with Exoprimal.
One of the biggest talking points of PlayStation's latest State of Play was the reveal of Capcom's Exoprimal. From the moment dinosaurs were shown and the Capcom logo popped up, fans of the dormant series started to get excited, only to find that it's a brand new IP that more closely resembles hero shooters.

Although the resemblances to Dino Crisis might have just seemed surface level from the reveal trailer, it turns out that it has a little more in common with Capcom's former dinosaur series than we previously knew.
As spotted by ResetEra user Jawmuncher, Hiroyuki Kobayashi Tweeted out a list of games that he's been involved in, including listing titles like Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, and Sengoku Basara. Listed alongside those games, right at the bottom, is Exoprimal.
Kobayashi's involvement in Exoprimal hasn't yet been announced, but it makes sense considering that he's worked on a lot of Capcom's most recent games. Considering his work on Dino Crisis, it also makes sense that he'd be a part of a title so similar. It also seems to indicate that Exoprimal will be developed by Capcom's second division development team, the same team that worked on games like Sengoku Basara.
Considering Kobayashi's involvement with Dino Crisis, it now seems even less likely that Dino Crisis wasn't discussed when making Exoprimal. You could have previously argued that all of the references were just incidental (you'd have been arguing for a while), but with original Dino Crisis staff attached, it seems incredibly unlikely that Exoprimal
