Obsidian Entertainment has released a new update for Pentiment, an RPG that launched for PC and Xbox in late 2022. The patch comes in the form of update 1.2, and includes new localizations for a slew of languages such as Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
Likewise, it features a new area called Outer Farms, which allows players to encounter more NPCs. You need a javascript enabled browser to watch videos.

The update is free to download on all platforms, though Obsidian warns, «Optimized game resources which may result in a larger patch download size.» Although the game didn't have many performance issues before, this latest update will hopefully make it run even more smoothly.
