Hello there!
I found someone who sells used PS2 games and I would like to buy some as I just bought an HDMI adapter and new memory card for my old console (although I am yet to make it work, but that's a different discussion), but I am a bit reluctant about this for a certain reason.
Do you know if they are safe to play or is there a possibility they could have a virus? The last thing I would want is to virus my console. Other than that, are there any other reasons against playing used games if they have no scratches?
Thanks!
You should be good to go with playing them on your (I presume the PS2?) game console. Used PS2 games are perfectly fine to play with as long as they can load properly. If you're still cautious you could ask them to test them in front of you to be certain they'll work.

The game itself was already 21 years old (released in year 2002) and being able to play 20+ years old games was really
