The upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ TV series can reveal the origin of the Rebel Alliance in a way that George Lucas never did. The Star Wars prequel trilogy ends in the darkest possible way, with the clone troopers turning on the Jedi due to Order 66, the ascent of the Sith, and the establishing of the Empire.
