Nolan's Oppenheimer Set Photos Reveal New Look At Emily Blunt's Character
Photos from the set of Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer offer a new look at Emily Blunt's character in the upcoming biopic. Following a long-running history in the thriller and sci-fi genre with blockbusters such as Inception and Interstellar, Nolan is dipping his toe into more biographical projects as the director gears up to tell the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, otherwise known as the «father of the atomic bomb.» Oppenheimer marks Nolan's most recent film following 2020's Tenet which bombed at the box office, hindered by the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oppenheimer will see a mixed bag of some of Hollywood's biggest names come together to tell the story of the theoretical physicist's involvement with the Manhattan Project during World War II. Following a string of appearances within Nolan's previous projects, Cillian Murphy will star as Oppenheimer himself, while Blunt is set to play his wife, Kitty. The likes of Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr, Kenneth Branagh, Gary Oldman, Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Jack Quaid, James D'Arcy, Dane DeHaan, David Dastmalchian, and Matthew Modine will also star.

Now, new photos have emerged from the set of Oppenheimer which offer a look at Blunt's character sporting a navy blue ensemble. The images were shared by The Daily Mail, with another photo glimpsing Murphy's Oppenheimer dressed in a three-piece suit and looking incredibly true to the time period. The images appear to show both stars in between scenes, as Blunt can be seen enjoying a drink, having changed into some comfortable footwear. See the images by clicking on the link below:
