While there are a number of games dropping on the Nintendo eShop this week, one of the bigger releases is easily Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass DLC Vol. 2. Teased recently via a Nintendo Direct, the DLC includes the fully playable Ino hero, as well as a challenge mode that lets you “collect crystals and exchange them for valuable accessories and new outfits.”
As for what’s next for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion pass, we have a longer wait until April 30, 2023, when wave 3 arrives. It’ll also include a challenge battle mode, as well as a new playable character, and more outfits. Then the golden goose arrives in December of 2023, when the “new original story scenario” (which is hopefully expansion-level quality) drops. Depending on how they handle it, it could be a big franchise moment.
If you missed last week’s edition, here it is. For those who are interested, sales are going on for all platforms.
