Xenoblade Chronicles 3 players that take time exploring each region may be rewarded for their curiosity. While progressing through the main campaign, they might stumble upon a Container that's out of reach or a hidden passage. These can usually be reached via Party Skills, which are in-game features that Ouroboros will learn on their journey. Those exploring the eastern Fornis Region may have noticed the Milio Trick Caverns above the Namba Mound Camp.

Exploring the Milio Trick Caverns unlocks a Standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Fortunately, the quest itself can be done as soon as it's accepted. Like with most sidequests in XC3, there are a few prerequisites stopping players from entering the Milio Caverns too early.

Make way for the question mark icon at the northwest of the Aetia Region to help a Colony Gamma member named Kyrie. Guide her back to Colony Gamma to unlock the Hero Quest Going Beyond Power. Completing this quest unlocks the Hero Teach, the Thaumaturge Class, and the Party Skill: Scree Walking. To reach Milio Caverns, players will need the Scree Walking ability.
With this done, fast-travel to Colony 4 and head east. If players are heading in the right direction, they'll see a sand slope that can only be climbed via Scree Walking. Going up here will unlock the Dannagh Desert. Head south from the slope to discover the Raptor Perch Landmark (refer to the above image).
