i-Entertain! iPhone iMessage has free games, but you have to find them first

The iPhone has several interesting features that many of us are not aware of and one of them includes games that have been secreted away. These can be played for free on iMessage. The app is packed with hidden games and you can play them with your buddies for FREE. A TikTok user by the username of @howfinity has shared an interesting hack that will let you play the iMessage games without paying anything. Here's a step-by-step guide to do the same.

Before you start, make sure you're using the latest version of iOS. You can check this by heading to Settings > General > Software Update.

Once confirmed, launch the iMessage app and open up a chat with someone. 

There, you’ll find a scroll-along bar above the keyboard with lots of icons.

Tap on the Apple App Store icon and you will be redirected to a new page.  

Now, search for a free game called GamePigeon and install it. Once downloaded, you'll get access to loads of games that you can play with friends over iMessage.

Apart from offering free games, there are other interesting things on offer. One that is amazing is that the app lets users respond to each individual message using emoji reaction. You can even unlock a hidden message menu to send text effects but animating them. But that's not all, with the iOS16 rolling out, the app has got a useful feature that will let users edit sent text messages. iOS 16 supported iPhone users can edit sent messages up to 15 minutes after it is sent. Do note that the feature only works with iMessages, not SMS messages. Furthermore, only the iPhone 8 and above owners can access this feature as iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE don't support the new iOS 16 update due their hardware restrictions.
