Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards has arrived in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library, and Nintendo is celebrating with a limited-time offer for Kirby’s newest adventure, Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Kirby and the Forgotten Land released in March 2022 and has been generally well-received amongst players and critics. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is the next of what has, so far, been a monthly series of additions to the growing catalogue of Nintendo 64 games available on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

It would take 22 years for Kirby to finally see a fully realized 3D experience with the launch of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. In the wake of Forgotten Land's successful release, Nintendo surprised Kirby fans last week with the announcement that Kirby 64 was coming to Nintendo Switch Online.
