The Stay Connected. Stay Smarter' ad campaign features the company's latest smart TV offering, the OnePlus TV U1S. The advertisement has an unconventional take, where Shahid and Mira are urging TV users to disconnect from their televisions and bond with their loved ones face to face without the digital distractions.
“Through the ‘Stay Connected. Stay Smarter.' campaign, our intent is to further strengthen the relationship with our community and help them make mindful choices in life. And through campaign efforts like “Stay Connected. The ad opens with Mira in her living room browsing through the features of her new OnePlus TV U1S. The new television connects to her OnePlus earphones as she uses her OnePlus smartphone as a remote for it. The home is decorated for the special occasion in all its finery.
Shahid enters the room and tries to communicate with Mira, but she is so engrossed in the TV that she fails to notice what her husband is saying. Ultimately, Shahid points at the new OnePlus TV, subtly implying the need to disconnect. Mira is quick to take the message and using Google Voice Assistant, she switches off the TV.
