Netflix has revealed the first look images of its upcoming action flick The Gray Man. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in the lead roles and is expected to premiere on the streaming service in July 2022. The images feature the two actors in their latest avatars, along with co-stars Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, and Dhanush.
Talks of The Gray Man began in December 2020, when Netflix revealed that they had a star-studded film in the works. At the time, the project was being referred to as the streaming service's most expensive film. Not only does it have a stellar cast, but Avengers directors Anthony and Joe Russo, popularly known as the Russo Brothers, were also brought on board to direct the action spectacle.

In the newly released The Gray Man images, Evans is seen sporting a sleek mustache for his villainous role. Evans previously shared an image from the set of the film, where fans first got to see his official look for his character Lloyd Hansen. It’s almost as if he took a page out of Henry Cavill's book, from when the actor portrayed the role of August Walker in Mission: Impossible — Fallout. Fans are excited to see Evans take on the role of an antagonist after his run as Captain America.
Gosling, on the other hand, looks like a good fit for any assassin-based action project. The actor portrays the role of Court Gentry, a CIA operative who is recruited from federal prison. Since his role and identity need to remain a secret, he is referred to as The Gray Man. His goal is to eliminate the target and then disappear. The plot is adapted from Mark Greaney's novel of the same name, which has Gentry uncover a huge agency secret and become a target
