New Teaser For The Boys Animated Spinoff Diabolical Features Three Homelanders
Amazon Prime Video has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming animated spinoff series The Boys Presents: Diabolical.The new series from executive producer Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg is an animated anthology series set in the same universe as Amazon Prime Video's dark comedy series The Boys.
The new minute-and-a-half teaser functions as more of a mock advertisement for the fictional fast-food chain Vaught A Burger,which shares the name of the evil corporation behind the creation of superheroes in The Boys.Narrated by Christian Slater, the ad shows off the many animated styles and some familiar characters that will be featured in the new series. One particularly striking image is the appearance of three different animated Homelander's, who immediately start making out with each other.
The Boys Season 3 Finally Has An Official Release Date From Amazon
The Boys Presents: Diabolical will feature eight 12-14 minute episodes. Each episode will have its own unique style of animation and is produced by a different creator. One episode is even produced by Rick And Morty creator Justin Roiland, who will also lend his voice talents to the spinoff series. Other creators behind episodes of Diabolical include executive producer's Rogen and Goldberg, as well as comics writer Garth Ennis, rapper/comedian Awkwafina, comedian Ilana Glazer, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg.
Several actors from The Boyswill also be reprising their roles in Diabolical. These returning stars include Antony Starr, Chase Crawford, Simon Pegg, Elizabeth Shue, and Giancarlo Esposito.
