South Park: Snow Day has received a new trailer showing off gameplay for the first time.
Announced during a live stream in August, Snow Day is described as a 3D co-op adventure on the snow-piled streets of South Park.
The game will be released in March 2024 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. It will cost €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99.
The new trailer below shows the South Park characters dressed similarly to how they were in South Park: The Stick of Truth, with the player playing a new kid in town.
The third-person action game will see players battle against other South Park kids while dodging traps and other hazards.

“An all-new South Park game is coming… in 3D,” the synopsis reads. “Join Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, in three-dimensional glory, to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day!
“Grab up to three friends and battle your way through the snow-piled streets of South Park on a quest to save the world and enjoy a day without school.”
According to the reveal trailer, the game is developed by Question Games. The California-based studio has previously worked on first-person titles The Magic Circle and The Blackout Club.
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone confirmed in 2021 that they were working on a new “3D video game”.
The previous two South Park games, The Stick of Truth (2014) and The Fractured but Whole (2017), were developed in collaboration with Ubisoft. The latter was created by The Outer Worlds developer Obsidian.
The two games were well received and currently have Metacritic scores of up to 85 and 84.
