Pragmata may be the most mysterious title in Capcom's upcoming portfolio of games, and it's going to stay that way for the foreseeable future. A brief update during the Capcom Showcase confirmed the game's release was slipping out of 2023 and into the unknown.
The video shows the enigmatic, glowy-eyed little girl (apparently named Diana) innocently drawing as her decidedly adult astronaut(?) guardian fends off mechanized attackers before he whisks her away from danger. We then see her doodle is a cute vehicle to break the bad news, followed by a more formal message from the development team stating...
It is with a heavy heart that we must further postpone the release of Pragmata. Our team is currently hard at work making the best game that we possibly can, but we need more time. We will continue to do our best to ensure that the final product is one that is worthy of your patience.Thank you for your continued support.-The Pragmata Development Team
Pragmata was first announced in 2020, and we still know next to nothing about it. So far, we've seen that some kind of catastrophe has befallen Earth, and the game unfolds in a «near-future dystopian world on the moon,» according to Capcom. The game was originally slated for 2022 before getting delayed to 2023. The game is slated to come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
