New League of Legends World Championship Skins Confirmed By Riot
League of Legendshas added new PBE previews for new champion skins that commemorate the reigning World Champions EDG. These skins are given to the characters that each team member used during their championship run. Currently, these skins are exclusive to PBE, but fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of these new skins for their favorite League of Legends champions, and it shouldn't be too long now before they can get their hands on them.
Every year, Riot Games celebrates the winning team of the League of Legends World Championship by collaborating with the team members on a series of five skins for champions chosen by the winners. The only criteria for picking these characters is that it must be a champion that was used throughout the World Championship. These five exclusive skins are designed in collaboration with the players, who add their own personal flair to each one, such as putting their signature on the skin. In 2021, the victor of theLeague of Legends World Championship was EDward Gaming, who won in a decisive 3-2 set against DWG KIA. Now, each skin has been revealed for fans to lay their eyes on.

Today, the official League of Legends Twitter account revealed the new set of EDG skins coming to PBE soon. Of all the champions used by EDG, the five the players chose were revealed to be Zoe, Viego, Graves, Yuumi, and Apehlios. While the colors of the skin for the championship team usually reflect their jersey color, the ones revealed with the skins — purple, blue, and white — don't seem to take much inspiration from the jerseys.
