Major story spoilers for Natlan have been shared in a new 5.0 leak ahead of the update’s arrival expected to occur later this month. At the moment, HoYoverse’s popular action RPG is in the last few weeks of Version 4.8 as it gets ready to shift gears with the release of Natlan and all its related content. This will likely be presented during the Version 5.0 livestream this week, including details about the region’s mechanics and new characters. However, a big story revelation has been leaked, something that will likely not appear during the 5.0 livestream.
Shared by the user Pap22 in a post tagged as “” on Reddit, the leak shows the images of three in-game murals that carry heavy story spoilers for the region of Natlan. The first image highlights a dragon-like creature spewing fire on a protective bubble, incinerating those outside of it. The second image seems to show the dragon now vanquished, with a figure standing on top of it, while the last leaked image shows that same figure along another humanoid-shaped dragon-like creature, both standing in opposite directions. This could provide more details about Natlan in.

According to their speculation, the first leaked mural represents the return of dragons to the region of Natlan, which resulted in the death of most humans and Celestians – but one envoy was capable of powering a tree, thus creating the aforementioned protective bubble, to shelter those that were able to escape the wrath of the dragons. Based on the image, the Reddit user speculates that Xbalanque was able to obtain some sort of guidance from a sage and was able to defeat the Pyro Sovereign, ending their reign over humanity in the region of Natlan.
